Trip to BaguioAnyway, it was 5:30 in the morning when the first group of people started their trip. Aizza and Em-Em went to the Elumbas at 5:00. But due to fixing pillows and all that stuff, they left at 5:30 instead. Im not going to tell you about the things they did on the way, all Im going to tell you is they arrived at 12:30 noon (and they also ate breakfast at Tarlac about 9:30 or 10:30 am). They toured and drive a little around Baguio first before they finally went to Green Valley, where they will stay. The second group are the rest of the Lazaro and the household stuff, which left at about 6 or 6:30. They stopped over in Petron to pick up a driver and a cook, and of course to check on their business. They also stopped for lunch somewhere. They arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon. Actually the groups met each other, when the first group was just going out for lunch. Anyway... For their first day, they went to the playground and hang-out there for a while. Either that, or they were at their room, playing playstation. It was a quick afternoon, thats for sure. As for the night, thats a different story... I mean, we all now, nights are rather short because we go to sleep most of nighttime. But some of them, tried to made it long, anyway. Steph, Angel and Macy slept early, but the others? Aizza, Em-Em, Mariel and with Sarah as the player and the controller, played Resident Evil 2. They played it at about 11 or something in the evening. And they finished it (without the help of Lawrence, or Clark, or anybody) at 2 in the morning! All I could tell you, readers, is that it was rather exciting, since it was nighttime and all, and youre playing a (kinda) scary game. There was even one time, they dont want to close the lights, nor to stand up to open it. There was also the time, where they need to pee, and dont wont to be alone! Thats how exciting and "scary" it was! Em-Em slept as soon as the game was finished. But the others stayed awake. According to them, they only slept because Tita Celia (yuk! Nakiki-Tita na ako! Hawa na ako kay Carla! Joke) made them go to sleep (which is at 3 a.m.). Tomorrow morning, they waked up and took a bath (full detailed talaga, 'no?). They were supposed to wait for the Macalinaos and Jolo before they could horseback. So, they planned to go to the carnival instead. But they decided to wait for the Macalinaos and Jolo before doing so, so they played bowling instead at the Green Valley club house. (The Baguio Country Club was really, really, really crowded!) Their Picture at the Green Valley Club House They played by pairs: (1) Sarah and Em-Em, (2) Steph and Angel, (3) Aizza and Mariel, and (4) Macy (and Casper). They were paired by their number of times when they bowled. And the winner is... Sarah and Em-Em! Then they played another game. This time its singles. And Em-Em won! Well, her other competition are Mariel, Aizza and Angel. Macy, Sarah and Steph were playing in another lane. Anyway, it was about 1:30 or 2:00 when they finished, I think. They went down to their house there to eat lunch. When they got there, the ones they were waiting for were already there eating lunch, too. They arrived at 1:30 according to Lawrence. So, after eating lunch and everything, they went to the playground. There they took lots of pictures (one of them is shown below) and played and rode the seesaw and the swings, and, well, act like kids! Just kidding! Afterwards, they were called for its time to go to Trinidad to the Strawberry fields! Their Picture at the play ground There, some of them picked strawberries. Well, very little did. I think we were supposed to pay for them or something... Whatever! Anyway, since its a farm, there are lots of muds and snails and stuff. Sarah fell, but thanks to her high shoes, her pants wasnt dirtied or anything. But Lawrence? Lets just say, when he fell, he really fell! His pants was dirty with mud from about his knee down. He washed his pants with water, and bought a pair of shorts. Anyway, afterwards, they went to Wright Park to ride horses. They went around Mines View. They were parted and Sarah, Em-Em and Aaron took the long cut. Steph, Mariel and the rest, and the other three met some time later. Then they were parted again. Sarah, Em-Em, Mariel, Macy and Aaron took the long cut (since their horses are running), and the rest took the shortcut since their guides wont let them run! What do you think of that? I mean, their horses and the riders would like to run. Its the guides, thats the big problem. So, all in all, some of them didnt run much, and the others did... a lot. It was about 6:30 when it all finished. They had dinner at home. They wanted to go to the carnival, but the adults say its probably closed. So, they were asked to choose between a disco and a bonfire. And since, they were going to a disco on Cerebs birthday, they vote for the second one instead. While preparing the fire, they saw a red light coming from a house in front of the house they were staying in. They check it out and were planning to tell the person off to stop pointing his laser pointer. But Sarah had an idea to invite them over to their bonfire. Nobody objected, so Sarah asked. And they said theyll be there after dinner. Now it was about 9 p.m. by then. They waited, and waited, and played cards while at it. But they never really came. The hotdogs cooked and they were already eaten. So, they thought their "visitors" wont come after all. But they did, and they were taken by surprise. The group that came is twice as many as them! And thats about how many they have to feed and entertain. There were 5 guys about our age, 3 girls our age, 3 18-and-above years old, and 4 or 5 kids age of Matel and Miguel. They have to made the fire bigger again, and they were losing some firewood already. It worked out, I guess. Later, when the fires ready and everyones seated, they got out Pringles and sandwiches, etc. First, they introduced themselves. They said their names, their age, and their school. Then they told ghost stories, too. And since they were telling ghost stories, Stephanie left for some time before joining them. She could have joined the other boys (Aaron, Lawrence and Jolo), who were "shy" and were playing cards at the side. Anyway, it was fun and it all ended at 11:30 p.m. because thats the only time they were given permission, or simply, their "curfew". For this night, the original plan was to watch VCD, but Lawrence didnt bring theirs, so what can we do? Anyway, afterwards, they toothbrushed, and played chess, while some of them sleep as soon as they hit the pillows. They were supposed to be chess players and were having chess championships, but they got sleepy and became sleeping beauties instead. The next day, they were planning to climb the mountain beside their house, but there was no way (as in road), so they didnt. Then they also packed and cleaned things up. They ate breakfast and were planning to have the mass at 9:00 am. But they took the 10 oclock mass instead. Their Picture in front of the house they stayed in Then they went to "Good Shepherd". While the adults were busy buying sweets, the group were picture-taking. Theres a beautiful view and lots of cool places to get your picture taken. So they finished the whole roll in there. Their Picture at Good Shepherd Afterwards, they went home. Not in the same time, though. The Elumbas and Aizza left as soon as they finished their "shopping" at Good Shepherd (which was about 11:30 a.m.). The Macalinaos and Jolo would like to see Camp John Hay first, so they went. They left Baguio at 12:30 noon. The Lazaros have to clean-up and stuff, so left at 2:30 p.m. And thats all for now. See how quick a weekend can be? Like they say, "Time is gold." And time is still running. We still have one more day to enjoy! Tomorrows Cerebs Birthday, lets see what happens...
