History

Now, you will learn in this page, their history of when they became friends, their fights, the other members who came and went (or was it "come and go"?), and many more. Are you ready?

Chapter 1: 1994

The group knew each other even before the Lazaro family moved in. This group consists of Cereb and Marru G., Sarah and Stephanie E., Aizza T. and Robby A.
After the Lazaro family moved in, the group now have 10 members. And also included in the history is Gia or Carla R.
Well, this is a pretty much long story. But the bottom line is they had their first split during the Christmas break. The Lazaro and Carla VS. the others. On the Street Christmas Party, they had two separate presentations. Because it's a long and very embarrassing story, I won't go in to the details.

Chapter 2: 1995

But on Summer '95, they joined again (w/o Carla). On this summer, they played mostly "Touch Ball". One team would usually compose of Em-Em and Mariel VS Sarah and Robby (and the rest would be distributed equally).
One afternoon they were playing, Sarah and Cereb started whispering. And before you knew it, there was a fight. Fight as in words only, no violent actions. Sarah, Cereb and Aizza VS Em-em, Mariel, Macy and Angel. Robby didn't get involved (I dunno why. Maybe he's a boy?). Stephanie didn't get involved, too, because she hates fights. And, as for Marru? I forgot her standing.
Then there were some, and they were one big, happy group again. They didn't even know what they were fighting about! I guess they forgot...
On the Christmas Vacation of '95, Sarah, Carla and Aizza formed a club which objective is to make new friends at least once a month. They split away from the gang. It didn't last long, though. And, again they reunited w/o Carla. (How many times already? 3?) As for Carla, well, as usual, she's somewhere else.

Chapter 3: 1996

Summer '96, they met Minez H. and Martin S.(introduced by Robby), making them a group that have 12 members. For that summer, they didn't play much Touch Ball. Instead, they had bonfires, ghost stories, ghost hunting, hide-and-seek, board games, card games and "Patintero". Oh, yeah, they also liked doing stuff like biking and roller-blading. That was also the summer, the group got their first name: SCRAM (Sarah and Steph, Cereb, Robby, Aizza and Angel, Marru, M.M, Mariel, Macy, Minez and Martin). And that summer, they had an idea (actually, it came from Minez and Martin) to sell ice cold products

Hey, still with us? Now, you've reached the second part:

and other stuff. They named their store "Cookies and Goodies".
"Cookies and Goodies" sells halu-halo (a mixture of all sorts of sweet stuff plus crushed ice), maiz con hielo (a mixture of kernel corn and crushed ice with milk), ice candy (a ice-frozen "candy"), chocolate chip cookies, crinkles, apple pie, pulvoron (a sort of pastry) and other stuff I forgot to mention.
At about the end of the summer, the gang fought. This time Minez and Martin VS. the others. I don't remember what they fought about. But in the end, they're still in "Okay" terms but they don't hang around each other anymore, meaning the group is minus 2 members, or (back to) 10. They didn't use the name SCRAM, anymore. Instead, they formed a new name: AFFIX (meaning A Forever Friend Is Xcellent)
Sometime in the middle of the school year, though, Robby moved. So that makes them 9. But the de la Paz's moved in (Donna and Lorra). So that means they're 11.
When December 1996 came, at their own and first Christmas Party, the group has 11 members.
However, since Gary, Jolo, and Robin are brothers of some of the members, they started playing with them. But they were not official members of the group. And, actually, they played with since, well, a long time now. That's all I can say, I forgot when they started.

Chapter 4: 1997

Anyway, when the Summer of 1997 came, they got an idea to sell again. This time they named it "Cool Ice". That was also the summer the boys played with them: Gary G., Jolo and Robin T., and Aaron and Lawrence M. Oh, and that was the summer, they decided to change the group name. They don't have any ideas on how to name it, just as long as the name is gone.
During Christmas season, they had to perform an act or a presentation. They performed the dance "Grease" (which is a cool dance, by the way). And this is where they knew Diane and Madel G., and Koyet and Kevin V.
So at their 2nd Christmas Party 98, they now have 11 members plus 9, making them 20! But it didn't stay much long. Pretty soon, Diane and Madel was out. So, they're 18. (And they still don't have any name.)

Chapter 5: 1998

But on their Summer '98, Donna and Lorra wasn't always in the activities. And a little of Koyet and Kevin, too. But they are still part of the group, though, not as active as the rest, who meets and play almost every day!
Somewhere in that summer, too, they were named as the Youth Committee of the village. So, I guess that's what they will be called.
But on about November, they were asked to present again in a Get-Together Party of the Homeowners. When the group asked for their group name, since they don't really have one, they talked about it for about a minute.

Still awake? And interested? Wow! I'm impressed! Now, on with the last part:

And since they don't have any suggestions except for Circle of Friends (COF), that's what the emcee told the audience. The name Youth Committee didn't occur to them during the time. (During this time, only 14 of them were present.)

Chapter 6: 1999

It's only January, and something happened already! Angel decided to quit the group, but still decides that they are still friends with them. She's just not included in some of their activities like their outings during birthdays and parties. No one knows why she quit. (Even I, her sister, asked her, and she just shrugs.) I guess the group is not that important to her as I thought.
Oh, and they decided that Aaron is not part of the group, too. Well, maybe, but he's just like Donna, Lorra, Kevin and Koyet. They're still part of the group, but not as active.
Okay people, it's already June, and summer has just gone by like a 'snap'! Anyway, let's see, Angel decided to be back at the group. Aaron is back again, I guess. And let'see... Well, I'll just keep you posted on another page, at Newsletter Page. C~ya there! (After you finish reading this of course!)

Chapter 7: The Present

Many of them wanted to change the name but since they don't have an idea that made everyone agree, they can't choose. All they know is that the name must symbolize the group, doesn't sound corny and has the words "Friend/s" and "Anonymous" (or a synonym is accepted). But for now, this group is just nameless. They don't want to have the name Youth Committee all their lives, and being part of the Youth Committee is for just a year.
The long-time members of the group are Cereb and Marru, Sarah and Stephanie, Aizza, and Em-Em, Mariel, Macy and Angel. Plus the new-but-active members, which consists of Gary, Jolo and Robin, and Aaron and Lawrence.

Chapter 8: The Future

Well, we don't know what the future really holds, so I guess I should just keep it blank. But it would be silly to do that, writing a chapter about nothing. All I know is no matter what happens, if the group number decreased or increased, Cereb, Marru, Sarah, Steph, Aizza, Em-Em, Mariel, Macy and Angel are and will always be friends! (Ang drama, ba or what?) Forever friends...(I hope!)

We-ell! What do you know? You did it! Congratulations! For being smart enough to know that we are important enough to read our history. Just kidding! Well, thanks for being interested. C~ya around!
